About
Do you ever wish that you knew what you know now…when you were younger? Ronnie Wood, current Rolling Stone and former Face, sang this regret into the catchy tune, “Ooh La La” for The Faces album of the same name released in 1973.
But as one of my favorite songs and certainly a chorus that races through my head every time I look back misty eyed at memories of myself 5 minutes previous to rm -rf *‘ing my documents directory, I figured I’d make a blog with this theme of regret in mind. I hope it helps someone out there either avoid the same problem all together or at the very least provide some good commiseration. Sometimes reinventing the wheel is just a waste of your time.
On that note, I’ll conclude with two quotes by the master summarizer Oscar Wilde:
“Quotation is a serviceable substitute for wit.”
“Nowadays most people die of a sort of creeping common sense, and discover when it is too late that the only things one never regrets are one’s mistakes”
